DION Finocchiaro
Professional Ultra Marathon Runner
From 1500m to Ultra Marathons, Dion has trained with some of the best athletes and coaches in Australia to become a highly competitive athlete. Dion is the current 50km record holder in Australia
​
Dion has won multiple Australian titles, earned an Australian record, and has represented Australia over the 100km distance. He has now run over 70 marathons and ultra marathons.
​
Dion's career began as a chef and also started as a recreational runner, he now works as a remedial sports massage therapist at Bayside Sports Medicine Group along with Sports Dieticians and Physiotherapists. Dion has a strong understanding of how to maximise performance.

Professional Triathlete
STEVE McKENNA
Steve has been passionate about and heavily involved in endurance sports for 18 years. From running at a national level as a junior and after a career in Aussie Rules Football to taking up triathlon in 2015.
​
Steve has trained under Matty White (former pro Triathlete), Jamie Turner (former Australian ITU Head Coach), and currently Tim Reed (ironman 70.3 World Champion 2016), all assisting to fast track Steve's great start to his Triathlon Career.
​
Steve's remarkable career to date includes multiple wins overseas in world class events including Challenge Vietnam, Challenge Korea, as well as being a 4 time winner of SA triathlete of the year. 2021 saw Steve win at Sufferfest half, Ironman Geelong, the tough Hell of the West event, and 2nd at Full Ironman Bussleton.

Steve often makes time to help young up and coming athletes.

SOPHIE BROWN

Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Sophie is a dual qualified Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. After completing the Sports Nutrition course for Dietitians with Sports Dietitian’s Australia (SDA) in 2012, she developed her practice in nutrition for endurance athletes.
In her personal life, Sophie is a competitive ultra-distance runner, having shared the podium in many events such as Six Foot Track Marathon, Old Ghost (NZ), Tarawera (NZ), Alpine Challenge, and Ultra-trail Australia (50 km and 100 km).
Sophie works as a Sports Dietitian on Sydney's Northern Beaches. She assists athletes of all ability levels with diet advice and meal planning to fit with their training and competition schedules.
